restaurant. How do they fair under the watchful eye of the Brazos County Health Department? KBTX continues to look at which Brazos Valley restaurants are making the grade and which ones aren't.
Here's what inspectors found during the week of February 3:
Sonic in Post Oak Mall was temporarily shut down because of three broken refrigeration units.
The food had to be thrown out before Sonic could reopen the next day.
Pizza Hut on Wellborn scored an 80 for fruit flies and employees without hair restraints.
Refried beans not hot enough an dishes improperly sanitized cost Taco Casa on FM 2154 some points.
It scored an 86.
While lunch meat at McAlister's on University wasn't cold enough and the deli had dirty utensils.
It gets an 89.
It was a near perfect score for River Bridge Bar and Grill on South Main in Bryan.
The downtown eatery scored a 97 for a dirty can opener and build up in the ice machine.
And a perfect 100 goes to Lenny's Sub Shop on Texas Avenue in Bryan.
