Find out what's lurking behind the kitchen door of your favorite
restaurant. How do they fair under the watchful eye of the Brazos County Health Department? KBTX continues to look at which Brazos Valley restaurants are making the grade and which ones aren't.
Here's what inspectors found during the week of February 10:
Cafe Bistro in Premeire Cinema was told to clean all of its refrigerators, freezers and tables.
Inspectors also found a rotten tomato and gave the cinematic sitdown a 76.
Whataburger at Texas Avenue near Villa Maria in Bryan scored an 86 thanks to a dirty spatula, microwave and pans.
It's the same score for West Side BBQ on San Jacinto in Bryan because thermometers were hard to read and hamburger meat was stored improperly.
Dairy Queen on Texas Avenue in College Station was docked for a dirty microwave and icing problem.
DQ Country gets a 90.
And it's BBQ that cooks up our perfect score for the week.
No problems for J. Cody's on South College in Bryan.
