Seeing someone suffer from a sudden cardiac arrest-can be a scary ordeal. But now helping them, doesn't have to be.

A new hands on approach to CPR, is making saving a life a whole lot easier. The American Heart Association says the new technique could even double a person's chance of survival.

Instead of having to worry about compressions, then breathing. The new method advises the general public to now use the hands-only approach when it comes to a cardiac arrest.

Clinical Coordinator Troy Reynolds with TEEX says people should do about 100 compressions per minute.

The new method is aimed at getting people over the fears, and confusion of CPR and instead provide simple life saving help to some of those in need.
