Jake Greenlee was born 13 weeks premature. He weighed just over 2 lbs.

Hours after he entered the world, his doctors at St. Joseph Regional Health Center decided to transfer him to Scott and White, in Temple.

"I had him on Monday and then I didn't get to see him 'til Thursday afternoon," said his mother, Angela Greenlee.

It would be another three weeks before his family could hold him. "He was looking up and was craning his neck and I could just sing to him and calm him down. It was wonderful," said Angela.

Baby Jake has been off a ventilator for two weeks now. Although the tiny baby is slowly growing, he weighs 4 pounds now, he is expected to stay in the hospital for another month.

Generously, the owners at the Chicken Oil Company are trying to help with medical bills. On this busy, busy Maroon and White Saturday, all of the restaurant's proceeds will go to the Greenlee family.

"We decided to do it this weekend and hopefully get more bang for their buck," said Katy Jackson, one of the restaurant's owners.

Baby Jake is currently at College Station Medical Center, where his expenses are taken care of. His month long stay at Scott and White cost about $8,000 a day. Every order, every burger, is helping a little baby come home to his big brother.

"He's a cutie pie," said four-year-old Ty Greenlee. "He's as big as two pies."

The Greenlees say a portion of Jake's stay at Scott and White will be covered by insurance, but all fundraising efforts will go towards making up the difference.
