It's an opportunity to help local children in need in the Brazos Valley.

Each year the Children's Miracle Network and radio station Candy 95 team up for the "Candy Cares for Kids" Radiothon.

In the past, money raised from the community, during the three day long event has gone towards sending kids to summer camps sponsored by Scott & White, and creating a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph's in Bryan.

This year's radiothon is raising money to help supply the NICU at St. Joe's.

The past two years the event has raised more than $100,000 for the Children's Miracle Network Brazos Valley.
