Fifty Texas A&M students have taken advantage of vaccines and antibiotics, after a meningitis scare on campus.

Last week, school officials say they notified students who came in closest contact with the student after learning an upperclassman female had contracted the virus.

School officials say they handed out the antibiotics to those deemed at risk.

No additional cases of meningitis have been reported.
