COLLEGE STATION Kenia Navarro and her fiancé Robert weren't expecting their baby to arrive for at least five more weeks. But she says God had plans of his own.
"I was asleep and woke and said he's coming,” said Kenia Navarro.
Jeremiah Angelo was born at 3:30 Wednesday morning at Scott & White Hospital in South College Station. While he's the couple's second child, Jeremiah is the first baby born in a Bryan/College Station hospital in 2014.
“I was ready. I was anxious,” said Navarro.
Navarro says she was admitted to the hospital at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday December 31st.
“They were going to send me home, so when I saw him I was just like, ' Finally, I get to meet him and hold him.’ “
One-year-old Jaden Anthony doesn't quite know how to take in his role as a big brother just yet…
“Do you want to give little brother a kissy?” Navarro asked of her son Jaden. “No, not yet?, she replied. "Okay! [laughs].”
But their mom is thrilled to have another healthy baby boy in her arms.
“He's definitely my miracle baby,” Navarro said.
