COLLEGE STATION- Phase one of the $450 million dollar Kyle Field expansion at Texas A&M is almost complete with just 25 days to go before the first home game. Today A&M officials held a news conference to say it will be ready.
The grass is in, the video board is up and running and the temporary sound system has been installed. Craig Kaufman with Populous says "It's good to just see all these things. You just start clicking off the list getting ready closer and closer to game day."
The first phase of renovations is nearly complete and on schedule giving Head Coach Kevin Sumlin three days of football practice at Kyle.

A new 'Destination Aggieland app' for I-phones and Android devices is now available for download.
