Investigators say one person has died after a small plane clipped some trees and a power line before crashing and bursting into flames in Central Texas.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says the accident happened late Sunday afternoon just east of Boerne (BER'-nee), about 25 miles northwest of San Antonio. Trooper Deon Cockrell says the plane was flying low when it crashed along State Highway 46.
DPS on Monday did not immediately release the name of the victim or whether additional people were aboard the homebuilt aircraft. The Kendall County Sheriff's Office also did not immediately provide information about the accident or a possible cause.
