1 Person Injured in Plane Crash-Landing in Northwest Houston


SPRING, Texas One person was injured after a small plane made a crash landing Sunday near Hooks Airport in northwest Harris County, deputies said.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the small plane had trouble just after takeoff just before 1 p.m. and went down in the 10600 block of Boudreaux Road, a half-mile from the airport.

One of the passengers was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the other two were fine.

The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration will lead the investigation into the crash.
