$10,000 Reward Offered for Escaped Murder Suspect From Hopkins County

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Brian Allen Tucker, 45, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list, and a $10,000 cash reward is now offered for information leading to his capture. Tucker, a member of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas gang, escaped on Tuesday morning from the Hopkins County Jail along with another inmate. He was awaiting trial for capital murder at the time of his escape. All tips can be offered anonymously.

An additional $10,000 in rewards are being offered by the Lake Country Crime Stoppers and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Tucker, who is accused of strangling a man to death with shoe laces, is believed to be driving a stolen black Saturn Vue, with license plates CR6D425. The vehicle contained a .22 caliber derringer pistol, and Tucker is now considered an armed and dangerous fugitive.

Tucker, who has relatives and friends living in Sulphur Springs (Hopkins County) and Colorado, has an extensive criminal history that includes capital murder, assault, burglary, theft, fraud and DWI.

Tucker is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 187 pounds. His tattoos include a logger chain around his neck, the words “White Pride” across his shoulders, and a large ram skull on his back. He also has “Drop Dead” tattooed across the back of his head. For more information, please view his wanted bulletin at: http://www.dps.texas.gov/Texas10MostWanted/fugitiveDetails.aspx?id=192.

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:
• Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
• Text the letters DPS—followed by your tip—to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
• Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
• Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All calls, texts, e-mails and Facebook messages are anonymous.

DPS investigators work with local law enforcement agencies to select fugitives for the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Sex Offender lists. You can find the current lists—with photos—on the DPS website at http://www.dps.texas.gov/texas10mostwanted/.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
