*Update* Stanley Wayne Robertson, the suspect in the murder of Annie May Toliver has been released from the hospital and is currently being held in the Mansfield Police Department jail on bonds totaling $1.59 million dollars.

Authorities in Brazos and Tarrant Counties are working cooperatively to determine the specifics regarding his transfer.

College Station Police have filed a Capital Murder Warrant for Stanley Wayne Robertson, the man charged in the kidnapping and death of Annie Mae Toliver.

Robertson is accused of abducting Toliver from the Wal-Mart in College Station on August 13th and fatally stabbing her in the neck. He then drove to Fort Worth where he is accused of dumping her body behind an area business.

It is not known what time all the events happened, but around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Fort Worth Police began pursuing Robertson in a 1999 Ford Expedition. During the pursuit, Robertson made a U-turn and rammed one of the patrol cars, causing the squad car to burst into flames.

The police officer was released from the hospital the next day with minor injuries. Robertson is still in the hospital, where he has been questioned numerous times by investigators.

According to a probable cause statement released by College Station Police, Robertson admitted Toliver died from a stab wound he inflicted on her on the outskirts of Fort Worth. He also admitted police began chasing him shortly after removing her body from his vehicle.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office concluded Toliver's death was a homicide, and the cause of death was due to bleeding to death caused by multiple stab wounds.

Toliver was the mother or Robertson's ex-girlfriend.

Robertson had just been released from the Brazos County jail on bond for holding a knife to someone the week before.

Bond has been set for these recent charges at $1.5 million in Tarrant County.
