The anticipated Big State Festival has already made an impact on one Brazos Valley city.
This year would have been the sixth annual Crossroads Music Festival in Hearne, which is usually held in the fall.
The event usually draws three to four thousand people to Hearne and generates about $5,000.
The Big State Festival was already planned for October 13 and 14 and organizers say they could not find another open date in October.
Hearne's Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kent Brunette says members are now considering moving the festival to the Spring.
Brunette says they are looking for possible dates that will not conflict with Spring Break, Easter or graduations.
