No Navasota School Bond

It's back to the drawing board for Navasota school board members.

Since the $25 million bond did not pass, the district is now looking for other options to improve its schools.

Some plans for the money included a new elementary school consolidating two campuses, and a new band hall, gym and football stadium at the high school.

Superintendent David Faltys says all the district can do is move forward.

"We'll sit down and look at those votes, see what the yes's were and what the no's were and maybe do some surveys and see exactly what the community feels and then move forward from there," says Faltys.

The board will discuss another bond proposal.
