The Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence will hold its 13th annual candlelight vigil on Tuesday.
The vigil is part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.
The "Brazos County Voices Against Violence" campaign is designed to spread knowledge of the growing number of family violence incidents.
The vigil will be held at Pebble Creek Country Club at 7:00 p.m.
As part of the Coalition's Child Silent Witness Project, three children will be honored that were lost to domestic violence.
In the year of 2005, there were 1,515 victims and 1,485 offenders of family violence reported in Brazos County, the majority of those were reported by the Bryan Police Department, according to the Brazos County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
