A Brazos County juvenile probation officer has been arrested for allegedly having an affair with one of her underage probationers. Sarah Farmer, 29, turned herself in at the College Station Police Department Monday morning. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond. Farmer is charged with sexual assault of a child, a second degree felony.
The Brazos County Juvenile Services Office contacted College Station Police on September 24 to report that they had been notified that one of their female juvenile probation officers had been having a sexual relationship with a 16-year old male juvenile probationer. Juvenile services officials told investigators they had been contacted by the mother of one of the victim's friends.
Juvenile Services officials contacted Farmer who they say confirmed the relationship. Police investigators contacted the victim who admitted that he and the suspect had been having sexual intercourse since approximately January 2007. He said this occurred several times in his home in College Stati
