A man is recovering after being shot early this morning in Bryan.
Police say the victim was assaulted in the 400 block of South Haswell.
The suspects then chased him to a home in the 300 block of Haswell and shot him.
The victim, 18, was first taken to St. Joseph Health Center in Bryan, and later moved to Scott and White Hospital in Temple for surgery. He is now listed in stable condition.
Neither the woman living in the home, nor her three year-old daughter, was injured. Still, the resident says the whole incident has left her shaken.
"My problem with these guns and things like that is our lives were put at risk," Patty Datray said. "My daughter could have been shot or I could have been."
Police have identified suspects in the shooting, but no arrests have been made.
