A Conroe ISD teacher has been arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor, possession of child pornography and enticing a child.

Investigators with the Harris County Precinct 4 High Tech Crime Division and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force said Thomas Calvin Vickers, 42, entered into an online chat with an undercover officer, who was posing as a 14-year-old girl.

Vickers allegedly displayed lewd images of himself and solicited the officer for sex. Investigators said Vickers also displayed lewd images of what appeared to be juvenile females to the undercover officer.

With the assistance of the Conroe ISD Police Department, Vickers was taken into custody without incident.

He was taken to the Harris County Jail, where he was being held Friday on $150,000 bond.

To: Take out the Trash. I don't think anyone said to let them go free. But I do agree that everyone must be judged, and in this case jailed, for their actions. I had Vickers in JrHigh, all I remember of him was that I didn't like him much and he seemed to flirt with the girls. I've seen this in more than just Vickers and it makes me start to wonder, how many more teachers of mine could be pedophiles?

Ryan, would you please be so kind as to define "amsome" for those of us that did not have Inmate Vickers for a teacher? Secondly, we can judge people by the bad things they do. Using your twisted logic, Timothy McVeigh, should have been allowed to go free, since he did a good thing(Served in the armed forces), prior to blowing up the Oklahoma City federal building. Using your twisted logic, Ted Bundy should have been allowed to go free, despite having murdered at least 48 women, since he also volunteered on a suicide hotline. Yes, we can form opinions about people by their actions and yes, we will. Third, I paid, this losers salary for 16 plus years. It doesn't matter whether I know him or not. Using your twisted logic, people should not say negative things about elected officials, professional athletes or movie stars, since they have never met them. In conclusion, if anyone is "stupid", it is those that defend pedophiles.
