Golf Tourney Helps Remember Bonfire Victims

The first Bonfire Memorial Golf Tournament was put on Friday by the Bonfire Coalition for Students.

The golf tournament funds will be put towards construction of a Bonfire Memorial Visitor Center. The tournament intended to remember the 12 fallen Aggies from the Bonfire collapse as well.

Former A&M Head football coach R.C. Slocum and other members of the Aggie family lent their support on the greens.

The tournament was a four-man scramble and began with a gun shot start following a lunch for the golfers.
