A Bryan mother accused of leaving her children alone and in filthy conditions has been indicted by a Brazos County grand jury.
Jaime Martinez, 19, faces a pair of child endangerment charges after an early August incident where she left her three children home alone. Authorities say she left to pay an electricity bill.
The children are ages 2, 3, and 7 months. The two older children, both girls, were found by neighbors wandering outside the home, while the youngest, a boy, was asleep inside the house, which authorities described as filthy.
Child Protective Services took the children into custody.
