The 28th Annual Glover's Rodeo is a hit in Robertson County and cowboys and cowgirls from across the nation are keeping the tradition alive. The rodeo and festival, held at the Robertson County Fairgrounds in Hearne, kicked off Saturday morning.
The Glover Rodeo started in Madisonville 28 years ago and since then, has grown into an event that draws thousands. From barbecue to barrel racing, the Robertson county fairgrounds was packed with people eager to watch the rodeo events.
"Good family fun there are food vendors here, there are all types of food to try, there is the excitement of the crowd, the rodeo events are spectacular everything from the bull-riding to the youth events."
Glover tells News 3, cowboys and cowgirls even travel from as far away as New York, California and Oklahoma.
