There was a full house at Reed Arena Monday night for the 65th annual gathering of the state's largest local agricultural supply cooperative.
Bryan-based Producers Cooperative Association hosts the event as a means of expressing appreciation to its stockholders and to report on the organization's financial status. Three new board members were also elected.
Producers Cooperative was chartered by a group of local farmers and ranchers in 1943. Today, it has more than 9,000 members and supplies feeds, fertilizer, farm equipment and other agricultural necessities throughout the state.
