NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Now here's a gutsy wreck.
A trucker required medical attention Tuesday after a tanker full of chicken renderings spilled on a Nacogdoches highway.
A hazardous materials crew was called in to clean up the mess from waste from a Pilgrim's Pride chicken plant.
Several thousand pounds of innards spilled.
A spokesman with DLS Haz Mat says a natural peat moss has been sprayed on the site to absorb the strong odor.
The top soil will be scraped off and hauled out. The grass will be replanted.
