It was all smiles Wednesday at the Louis Pearce Pavilion on the Texas A&M University campus.
Dozens of Preschool and first grade students gathered there to have a little fun while learning.
The purpose of the Children's Barnyard is to teach kids about basic agricultural production.
Students had an opportunity to pet pigs and horses. They even had the chance to test their calf roping skills and learn what a tractor is used for.
About 1,500 students are expected to attend the event Wednesday and Thursday.
Children's Barnyard is hosted by the Texas A&M University Saddle & Sirloin Club.
