After hours of deliberation and no verdict, the jury was sent home Thursday evening in the trial of a Bryan man accused of killing his wife.
Bobbie Tates, 54, has pleaded not guilty to shooting his wife, Carolyn, in August 2006. She later died from her injuries.
The jury will continue deliberating at 8:30 a.m. Friday morning.
If convicted, Tates could face up to 99 years or life in prison.
