Brazos Valley Republicans now have a new gathering place. A new volunteer center opened up in Bryan Saturday.
It's called the Republican Victory Center. There are only a few others like it in Texas. It's a place where volunteers can organize and host activities for Republican candidates running in the November election.
Organizers say it's a way to inform the community on what the candidates stand for.
"The Republican Victory Center brings together volunteers that support the entire Republican team. It's real important to have volunteers helping out on the campaigns because that's the way we get the message out to the voters and the way we encourage our voters to get out to the polls," said Andrew Dorau with Texas Victory.
The Victory Center is located in the Travis Landing Shopping Center in Bryan.
