A Sunday morning motorcycle accident in Robertson County claimed the life of the driver and sent the passenger to the hospital.
It happened at 3:30 a.m. near Calvert on FM 979. Investigators say 26-year-old Justin Cole Waters of Calvert was traveling too fast in a curve on his motorcycle. The impact threw Waters and his passenger off the bike.
Waters was killed instantly.
His passenger, 25-year-old Joseph Broadus of Franklin, is being treated for leg injuries at Saint Joseph Regional Health Center.
Neither man was wearing a helmet.
