A train thought to be carrying toxic fluids derailed Monday evening in downtown Bryan.

Just before 6:00pm, a Union Pacific train was traveling south out of town when two cars used to carry liquid petroleum gas came off the track. Fortunately, those cars turned out to be empty.

Union Pacific employees were on the scene to get those empty cars back on the track.
