A local groundwater conservation district will delay a vote on proposed rules.
The Brazos Valley Groundwater Conservation District plans to vote on the rules next Wednesday.
The group decided to make an amendment to the current proposal that would affect Brazos and Robertson Counties.
Local ranchers have spoken out against some of the rules saying it takes away their rights as land owners.
