The sheer number of students is forcing Bryan's school board to plan for the future.
Members talked about two possible plans during Thursday night's meeting. One was to create a campus for fifth and sixth graders. The other was to build a new middle school campus.
Currently, the district has more than 3,100 middle school students at three campuses.
The board could add one of the proposals to the upcoming bond election. A proposed second high school is already on that ballot.
The next bond discussion meeting will be held October 7th at 6:00pm.
