The new head of Development Services in College Station broke his silence Friday about changes within the department.
After not answering numerous phone calls, director Joey Dunn finally, today, confirmed that two employees within his department are on administrative leave.
This is a story we first told you about earlier in the week. The two employees on leave are city planner Jane Kee and development manager Natalie Ruiz. They have been with the city for a combined forty years.
Dunn adds, "Change is not always comfortable and I would like to say that change is necessary in order for us to move forward. And that's why i'm here. I'm committed to that and i'm committed to see development services respond to the needs of its community."
Dunn says he's in the process of re-organizing but still will not comment on the circumstances surrounding the administrative leave.
