Healthy hearts were on the mind of a number of residents who took an early morning stroll on Saturday.
Texas A&M University hosted Heart Walk.
Teams from different organizations around the Brazos Valley came out and walked a campus course to help raise awareness about heart issues.
The event gave many participants a chance to talk to medical experts about nutrition and fitness.
Money raised from the Heart Walk benefits the American Heart Association.
