A Texas A&M student is breathing with a machine as a fellow Aggie is charged in this felony case.

Michelle Briggs, 36, is in the ICU at the College Station Medical Center after emergency crews had to pry her from her car about 3 a.m. Sunday.

The two-vehicle accident happened on Harvey Mitchell Parkway near West Luther.

College Station police say Aaron Somers, 21, hit Briggs' car with his Toyota Tundra, flipping the pickup onto its roof.

Somers is charged with intoxication assault, and faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.

Briggs' family tells us she has two children.
