Two unrelated traffic accidents, including one fatal crash, caused delays on Brazos Valley roadways Monday.
The first accident was on FM 50 at the Burleson-Washington county lines.
DPS investigators say Robert Brosious of College Station was driving on FM 50 when his Ford van hydroplaned into oncoming traffic. He hit a Toyota SUV sending both vehicles spinning into a guard rail. Brosious was pronounced dead and his body sent for an autopsy.
The other driver, Donna Kaye Crawford of Brenham, was injured. She was last listed in stable condition at Scott and White in Temple.
The second accident was in Robertson County on U.S. 79 near Easterly.
TxDOT says two 18-wheelers were involved. Traffic was down to one lane in each direction.
No serious injuries were mentioned.
