A Washington County Jury could not reach a verdict in the case against a man accused of murdering a woman and dumping her body on the side of the road.
After six hours of deliberating, the trial against Lee Van Parker ended with a hung jury.
Parker pleaded not guilty to the murder of 34-year-old Sandra Ramos.
The body of the San Antonio woman was found over one year ago along US 290 near Burton.
Investigators believe Ramos was killed and thrown from a moving car.
The case will be retried.
