The Navasota school board hopes the second time is the charm. Less than a month after voters turned down a $25-million bond package, the school board is ready to present the items again, with slightly different packaging.

Monday night the school board agreed on three new bond proposals. The first is for $18-million and involves the renovation and expansion of the primary school. It also allots funds for a new elementary in the Plantersville-Stoneham area. Proposal two is a $5-million plan for general maintenance at the high school. The final bond proposal is a $2-million package for a new football stadium and athletic facilities.

This bond election will take place Dec. 11.
