Deadline Set for Decision on Alcohol at Topless Bar

By  |

A decision will be made by Friday on whether a proposed topless bar in Robertson County will get to sell alcohol.

Owners of the Horseshoe Club presented their case for a liquor license at an administrative hearing Tuesday morning in Franklin. Afterward, County Judge Jan Roe said she'll make her ruling by 5 p.m. Friday.

Concerns have been raised about intoxicated patrons exiting the club's property onto Highway 6. But even if the establishment doesn't get a liquor license, it could still open and allow customers to bring their own alcohol.
