Officials at the Brazos County Health Department said it has a limited number of doses on hand and is waiting for more.
If and when the Health Department receives its supply, the vaccine will only be available to high risk patients.
That includes people over the age of 65, as well as children under the age two, and people with serious respiratory problems.
The College Station Medical Center is also experiencing a shortage since its entire stock was ordered from the British company who shut down.
Officials at St. Joseph Hospital say they are fully stocked with the vaccine.
