A voice from the past highlighted day two of a murder trial in Anderson.
Rodney Gray is accused of fatally shooting Jeffrey Pierce last March at a rural Grimes County home. Wednesday, jurors heard an audiotape of Gray being interviewed by Sheriff investigators following the incident. On the tape, Gray admits to shooting Pierce -- a claim he hasn't recanted. But Gray says he pulled the trigger in self defense.
The defense is expected to begin presenting its case Thursday.
