Only one week to go before Iola residents decide if their town becomes a city. Voters go to the polls November 6 to determine if Iola will incorporate and become a city.
The driving force behind the move is the town's sewer problems. As a city, Iola would be eligible for state financial help in building a new sewer system.
The group in charge of the process held a final town hall meeting Tuesday night to answer any last-minute questions.
