Combs Gets Probation for Shooting

A College Station man won't have to serve jail time for the 2003 shooting an an area apartment.

A Brazos County jury sentenced 21-year-old Brandon Combs to seven years probation with an eight-thousand dollar fine.

Combs originally pleaded not guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

But mid-trial he changed his plea.

He admitted to shooting at three men with an AK-47 following an argument at a local Jack in the Box.
