If you haven't been watching football, there's a good chance you were out shopping. Hundreds of Brazos Valley residents were up at the crack of dawn to get in on the post-Thanksgiving deals.

James Haverland, Target Store Team Leaders says there were abotu 300 people lined up to get in Friday morning at 6am. Haverland adds, "We served them coffee, tried to get them ready to go inside and have some fun."

Many stores are offering deals, from low prices on the latest toys to electronic gadgets The day after Thanksgiving is traditionally seen as the start of the holiday shopping season.

Diane Winkler, from Rockdale says its a familiy tradition and adds, "Its a lot of fun, my sisters and mother and I do it every year. We just come out, and hit all sales. One goes one way and one goes another."

The noise and frenzied crowds are not for the weak at heart. Some even need a little pick-me-up to keep up their steam.

Diane Molina, from Bryan who also shops Black Friday every year was feeling a bit tired and adds, "We need to get a little coffee and get a buzz back on or head home."

"I think its amazing that people are willing to do that. I'm surprised i did it myself, but i thought why not?" says Judy Kirkpatrick.

We couldn't find many shoppers who were frustrated by the big crowds, but those people probably stayed at home.

An estimated 130 million people are expected to hit the stores this weekend.
