Sixteen Texas constitutional amendments will be decided Tuesday, as well as a pair of major issues in Brazos County and one in Grimes County.
Polls close at 7 p.m. across the state. A list of polling places in Brazos County, along with a sample ballot, is linked below.
Brazos County voters have the chance to say yay or nay to a $53 million bond that would further fund the new county jail. The additional money would mean the facility could hold inmates for 25 years while staying under its full capacity, that according to the sheriff's office.
In Bryan, a tax freeze for seniors and the disabled is up for a vote.
The community of Iola will also decide Tuesday whether to incorporate so that they can receive funding for infrastructure work.
