A Burleson County woman is gunned down in her own home. And her roommate, a College Station city employee is charged with the murder.
The body of 32 year old Christina Massey was discovered in her home this morning. She suffered a single gun-shot wound.
33 year old Charles Carter is charged with first degree murder.
Chief Deputy Mike Brackman said the two lived together in Cade Lake Estates near Caldwell.
He said two small children witnessed the shooting, both are now in CPS custody.
Brackman is unsure who the children belong to or the relationship between the couple.
Neighbors we spoke to said they were shocked to hear about the shooting.
