No word on what caused an ammonia leak in Bryan that sent nearly 20 to the hospital Thursday.

It happened just before 8 Thursday morning at Sanderson Farms Processing Plant.

Bryan fire officials say the leak came from inside the plant and was already fixed by the time they arrived.

Officials say 20 to 30 people had to be treated on site for exposure to ammonia.

Sixteen were taken The Med and St. Joseph, but they've all been treated and released.

The plant re-opened about an hour and a half after the leak.
