The complaints at the Grimes County District Clerk's office just don't seem to stop.
This time Wayne Rucker has filed a complaint with the Board of Public Accountants against county auditor Buck LaQuey.
Rucker accuses LaQuey of slander and said he has papers to prove it. Both men have been working close together since an audit discovered missing money from Rucker's office.
In the meantime, Rucker has announced he plans to run for re-election in 2006, despite his recent intent to retire.
Rucker also faces lawsuits and complaints from former employees.
