Second Arrest in Festival Murder

A second Montgomery County teen is charged with first-degree murder in last weekend's stabbing at the Renaissance Festival. Jonathan Damuth, 18, surrendered to Grimes County deputies today.

He had been questioned earlier this week about the death of Brandon Smith, 23. Damuth's roomate, Brent Noland, 19, was the first to be charged with murder. Investigators believe both teens took part in stabbing Smith close to 20 times last Saturday night in the Renaissance Festival parking lot.

Grimes County authorities say more arrests could be made, but these are probably the only two that will be charged with murder. Noland is free on bond.
