The rain slick roads are being blamed for a deadly accident Saturday morning in Brazos County.
The accident happened on OSR about 9 o'clock.
Two pickup trucks traveling opposite directions collided after one of the trucks hydro-planed and went into the oncoming lane.
46-year-old Damon Wayne Parker of Normangee died at the scene.
DPS say he was driving a 1999 Chevy Pick-up truck when he lost control.
The driver of the other truck was taken to St Joseph where he remained in critical condition.
Jose Louis Ramirez, 42, of Bryan was suffering from head and abdominal injuries.
Both men were wearing seat belts.
