The body discovered near a Bryan daycare center is confirmed to be that of 34-year old Jerry Ray Davis.
Davis was a Bryan resident. Police do not think he was holding a job at the time of his death.
Over the weekend, a preliminary autopsy report indicated drowning was the cause of death. Police are still waiting full autopsy results as well as a toxicology report.
Friday morning, workers at the Presbyterian Childcare Center, in Bryan, spotted the body in a ditch off East 31st street.
