It's planned to be the biggest outdoor retail center College Station has ever seen. In a special Monday night session, city council members approved a ten million dollar contract for an new strip center with shopping and dining.
The 300-thousand square foot center will be built at the Northeast corner of Greens Prairie Road and Highway 6.
Dallas based Quorum Equities will develop the retail center. Designs for the new center are expected within the next two weeks. Ther is no word on when construction will begin.
